The MA International Management Studies - Business Administration course requires proof of adequate knowledge of the English language, either through an English-language course or a corresponding certificate. In the case of proof of English-language studies, confirmation from the university must be submitted that the language of instruction for the course attended was English (English-language module titles in the overview of grades are not sufficient).
The certificate presented as proof of language skills must not be older than a maximum of two years, calculated from the beginning of the semester for which enrollment is requested.
The following evidence is recognized on an equal footing:
Cambridge English:
FCE (First Certificate in English): minimum score 173 points
CAE (Certificate in Advanced English): Minimum score 173 points
CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English): minimum score 173 points OR
IELTS (International English Language Testing System): Band Score 6.5 OR
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) Internet-Based Testing: minimum score of 90 points
Graduates of the bachelor's degree program "International Management - Business Administration" at the Europa-Universität Flensburg automatically meet the technical and language requirements for admission and do not have to submit any further proof. The Admissions
Committee decides on the recognition of deviating certificates as equivalents .

If you did not acquire your study qualification at a German-speaking institution, German language skills are required that enable you to study at a university (linguistic study ability). The following certificates are recognized as evidence for the MA International Management Studies - Business Administration:
Certificate of the "German language test for university admission" - DSH" at level DSH-2 (note: the DSH test is only accepted if the test organization has been registered and certified by the HRK) or
through the "Test German as a foreign language" - TestDaF at level TDN-4 in all four partial tests or
through the "German part of the examination" of the assessment test at preparatory colleges or
through the German Language Diploma of the Conference of Ministers of Education - Second Level DSD II or
the Goethe certificate C 1 or
the "telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule" certificate.

Prerequisites
Application requirement for the Master International Management Studies - Business Administration is
a bachelor's degree in "International Management - Business Administration" from the European University of Flensburg or a completed, equivalent university degree with at least 180 credit points (CP).
German and English language skills according to the statutes on the proof of foreign language skills or from practical work according to the study qualification statutes of the Europa-Universität Flensburg (see below).
Equivalence according to No. 1) is basically given if it is about
a bachelor’s degree from an economics degree with an international orientation that is accredited by the Accreditation Council and in which
at least 30 LP in economics and
at least 15 CP in statistics or social science methods
be detected.
If you only partially meet these criteria, you may be admitted with conditions . You then have to catch up on courses from the bachelor's program "International Management" at the EUF. This can extend your studies. Please refer to the application information sheet under the item "Application documents to be submitted".
The equivalence agreements approved by the Conference of Ministers of Education and the Conference of University Rectors are decisive for determining the equivalence of foreign courses. If such an agreement does not exist, the Admissions Committee decides on equivalence.
The decision on participation in the selection process is made by the Admissions Committee after examining the incoming application documents.
