Terms of Use

Last updated: August 8, 2026 (version 2026.08.08)

1. Who you are agreeing with

These Terms of Use are between you and Qogent Learning Solutions Private Limited (operating as MS in Germany), the operator of msingermany.com and its dashboard. By creating an account or using any feature of the site, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

2. What the platform actually is

msingermany.com is an information and tooling platform for people applying to study in Germany, mainly for a Master's degree. Most of the site is free: editorial content, free tools (grade calculator, ECTS converter, cost calculator, eligibility checks, dMAT practice questions and mock tests, and similar), and a free user dashboard with an AI Advisor. Pages about training, working, and living in Germany are kept as a supporting information library. Free tools and free practice tests carry no promise of a particular score, admission, or visa outcome.

A subset of pages under /services offers paid services (for example document preparation, university shortlisting, blocked-account opening, health and travel insurance, and courier of documents), and /pricing offers admission packages that group several of those services. Paid items are clearly priced and clearly separated from the free content. We never hide a price or add a charge you did not choose.

We are not a university, a German government agency, an immigration lawyer, a tax adviser, or a recruiter. We do not control admission outcomes, visa decisions, or any government process. Information on the site is provided in good faith and to the best of our research, and is not a substitute for individualized legal, financial, or immigration advice.

3. Your account

Account creation requires accepting these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the credentials you set, for keeping them safe, and for activity that takes place under your account. If you suspect your account has been accessed by someone else, change your password from Settings -> Change password and contact [email protected].

You can delete your account at any time from Settings -> Delete account. Deletion is permanent; see the Privacy Policy for what is erased and what we lawfully retain.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • misrepresent your identity or submit information you know to be false;
  • impersonate another person or scrape personal data from the site;
  • probe, test, or circumvent our authentication, rate limiting, or security controls;
  • upload malware or content that violates the law of your jurisdiction or Germany;
  • use the AI Advisor to generate content intended to deceive, defraud, or harass another person.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these limits.

5. AI Advisor and tool outputs

The AI Advisor, chat, and tool calculators produce outputs by combining your inputs with third-party language models (see the Privacy Policy for sub-processors). Outputs may be wrong, out of date, or inappropriate for your specific situation. Treat them as a starting point, not a decision. Do not rely on a tool output for visa, financial, or legal decisions without verifying against the relevant official source.

6. Paid services and refunds

For services purchased through the site, prices, currency, and scope are shown on the relevant service page before checkout. INR and international payments are processed by secure third-party payment providers; we never see or store full card numbers. The receipt and any tax-relevant fields are retained per German Handelsgesetzbuch and Abgabenordnung (see Privacy Policy, Section 8).

Individual service purchases are non-refundable once placed, unless the service page states a specific guarantee.

What admission packages do not cover

An admission package covers the services listed for that package on the pricing page, and nothing beyond them. Fees charged by third parties are never included in any package, at any tier, and you pay them directly to whoever charges them. These are the APS application fee, the dMAT exam fee, uni-assist fees, university application fees, notarization charges, and courier charges. Uni-assist fees and courier charges in particular are not covered by any package.

Where we offer help with one of those items as a paid service of our own, for example document courier, it is priced separately on its own service page and is not part of a package unless the package page says so.

Package inclusions can change. The package page as it stands on the day you pay is the scope you bought, together with the Scholar Package Guidelines you accept in the student portal. A later change to the published inclusions does not reduce what an enrolled student already paid for.

Refund requests for Basic, Standard, Premium, and Bachelor's packages can be made within 30 days of enrollment. Deductions apply for work already completed. The Scholar Package Guidelines agreement accepted in the student portal is the binding document for package refunds and conditions.

For the Premium Package, a refund of Rs 40,000 applies if admission is not secured after two consecutive intakes, subject to the signed Scholar Package Guidelines. Students must apply to all shortlisted courses, delays can void the guarantee, and the refund is issued only after all application results are announced.

7. Your content

Anything you type into your profile, the AI Advisor, the tool inputs, or the lead forms remains yours. By submitting it through the dashboard you grant us a limited license to store and process it for the purpose of providing the service you asked for (account management, AI inference, lead triage). We do not sell your content. We do not use it to train models on your behalf.

Sharing your success

Calls with our team may be recorded. If you share your admission news, results, or experience with us in any form, including on a recorded call or video call, in a video, a voice note, a chat message, a testimonial, a review, or a photo, you give MS in Germany a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable permission to use, edit, and publish that material to promote our services. This covers our website, our social media accounts, our emails and presentations, and paid ads. We may shorten, caption, translate, or lightly edit the material, and we may keep using it after you stop using the platform. We do not owe you a fee for this use.

We use this permission with care. We will not change the meaning of what you said, and we will not show your contact details, passport or identity documents, or financial information in marketing material.

You can withdraw this permission for future use at any time. Write to [email protected] and tell us which recording, quote, or clip you mean. We will leave it out of new marketing material and remove it from the channels we directly control within 30 days. Ads and posts that already ran, and copies saved by other people, may stay visible in places we cannot reach.

8. Third-party content and links

The editorial pages link to universities, visa portals, language test providers, and German government resources. Those sites are not under our control. Their accuracy, availability, and terms are their own responsibility.

9. No warranty, limitation of liability

The free editorial content, free tools, and AI Advisor are provided as-is, without warranty of accuracy, fitness for purpose, or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of your use of the free portions of the platform is limited to the higher of (a) twenty euros (EUR 20) or (b) the amount you have paid us for paid services in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where law forbids exclusion, including liability for personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law of your residence.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's home jurisdiction (India), without prejudice to any non-waivable consumer-protection rights granted to you by the law of your country of residence. For EU residents, mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence apply where they grant a higher level of protection.

Disputes are first to be addressed in good faith via [email protected]. EU residents may also use the European Commission's online dispute-resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The effective date and version at the top of the page change when content changes. We will surface material changes on the dashboard before they take effect.
