What you need to apply for Applied Ecology at Kiel University (CAU)
certified by an internationally recognized test, such as IELTS 6.5, or equivalent (TOEFL ibt 92, pbt 580), is required excepted for native speakers
Bachelor (B. degree or a nationally recognized degree equivalent to 180 ECTS) from a field in relation with the scope of the IMAE master (for instance: Ecology, Biology, Population genetics,Evolution, Environmental sciences …). The equivalence of the national degree to British standard BSc (3 years) is checked on NARIC platform. An academic equivalency may be attributed based on the professional experience of the applicant (validation of acquired experience).
The requirements for candidates to apply to IMAE programme are well defined and transparent to the applicants, and are described below:

Fluent proficiency in English certified by an internationally recognized test, such as IELTS (6,5), TOEFL (ibt 92, pbt 580) or Cambrige Certificate in Advanced English is required. This not applies to English native speakers.dure.
