Relevant bachelor’s, diploma, or comparable degree from a recognized university in Germany with at least 140 ECTS (at the time of applying),
and an average grade from 1.0 up to 2.9 (German grading scale applies), determined from the examination results.
A. 45 ECTS (EU degrees) or 9 modules (Non-EU degrees) in economics, business administration, and at least 20 ECTS (EU degrees) or 4 (Non-EU degrees) in the field of quantitative methods, or
B. 65 ECTS (EU degrees) or 13 modules (Non-EU degrees) in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research modules
have been acquired.

For the ORBA study program, a master’s with a very limited number of spaces (30 winter/ 20 summer intake places) and applicants from worldwide we require an excellent previous academic undergraduate degree (a relevant to our's) in economics, business, advanced mathematics, and statistics. This education you must prove a GPA from 1,0 up to max. 2,9 (German grading scale by strict rule) and:
a minimum of 45 ECTS (EU degree) or 9 (non-EU) modules in economics, business administration modules plus 20 ECTS or 4 modules in quantitative methods (no application studies) studies or a minimum of 65 ECTS or 13 modules in mathematics-statistic modules. Please be aware that the ORBA study program is very challenging and highly analytically, and mathematically orientated. Several compulsory modules must be taken at the department of computer science and mathematics and require advanced knowledge in these fields.
The examination board of the Faculty of Economics and Management will make the evaluation of your application based on the study regulations.

\- Applicants who have obtained their bachelor's degree at the Faculty of Economics and Management of Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg do not have to prove the relevance of a completed undergraduate degree, as this information is already known to the faculty.
