What you need to apply for Chemical and Energy Engineering at Otto von Guericke University (OVGU) Magdeburg
TOEFL (normally at least 80 points internet based/213 points computer based/550 points paper based;
Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) (usually with a minimum grade C);

BSc, BE or BTech in Chemical and Energy Engineering or a closely related subject such as chemical or systems engineering with a minimum Bachelor GPA of 2,30 on the German scale, including Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics and Heat & Mass Transfer; Mechanical Engineering if Thermodynamics, Chemistry and Fluid Dynamics is enclosed; Proof of English language proficiency: Non-native speakers have to deliver minimum TOEFL scores (paper based test - minimum 525, computer-based test - minimum 213, internet-based test - minimum 80) or IELTS results of a minimum overall band 6.0.;
For the application we expect a minimum bachelor mark of good in the German scale. This is equivalent to a GPA below 2.30 or ECTS=B. Admission depends on the number of the competing applicants.
The international master's degree course CEE is offered completely in English. Applicants will need to provide evidence of adequate knowledge of English, generally a [TOEFL certificate](http://www.ets.org/toefl).
