certificate “Abitur”.

We recommend to have basic knowledge (A2 or higher) of German in order to complete daily tasks and to be able to solve administrative duties for studying or doing an internship in Germany: however, German skills are not an admission requirement for our English study program.
Bachelor’s, diploma, or comparable degree from a recognized university in Germany with at least 140 ECTS (at the time of applying), and an average grade from 1.0 up to 2.9 (German grading scale applies), determined from the examination results.
60 ECTS (EU degrees) or 12 modules (Non-EU degrees) in economics, business administration, and at least 15 ECTS (EU degrees) or 4 (Non-EU degrees) in the field of quantitative methods have been acquired and proved.
2. Proof of the relevant first academic degree with the mandatory standardized form “Relevance” of the faculty.

Applicants must prove a GPA starting from 1.0 but not higher than 2,9_ in regard of the German grading system_, and from _a re_levant undergraduate degree (finance, business, economics) from a university recognized in Germany. Strong knowledge in advanced mathematics and statistics is a pre-condition to admission to our master's study program.
An academic degree is considered relevant with_:_
a minimum of 60 ECTS ( EU degrees) or _12 modules (Non-EU) in: economics, business administration courses_ plus
15 ECTS (EU degrees) or _4 modules (Non-EU) in quantitative methods for economists and managers (mathematics, statistics, econometrics, operations research, ....)_.
A letter of motivation with a maximum of 450 words is mandatory for application submission. The letter has to include the following aspects:
\- Personal skills and capabilities helpful for the requested graduate study
\- Expectations regarding study program content, methods, and the process
\- Importance of the study program for the future professional or academic career
The language of instruction and assessment in our full-time master's study program is exclusively English. Students must demonstrate fluent written and spoken English on C1 level, such as the knowledge and skills necessary to complete academic papers.
