Based on a scientific degree in Business Informatics or Computer Science (diploma or Bachelor with at least 180 CP) or a degree with three years of employment in the IT environment, you can the "Master Business Informatics" at the RFH Cologne in four semesters (120 CP) study.
What to prepare for your application to Business Information Systems
Bachelor's degree (grade 3.0), non-subject degree with 3 years of professional experience and a clear IT connection
The documents you need to submit vary depending on which course of study you would like to apply for. Basically, we need a fully completed study application from you including the data protection appendix, a tabular CV (signed, including photo), a copy or scan of your ID card and proof of your university entrance qualification. We require certified copies of documents and certificates.
If you have already studied, you must also submit a certificate of exmatriculation that shows the number of university semesters you have completed so far. If you are still enrolled at the time of application, proof of de-registration can be submitted later upon enrollment and a current certificate of study can be attached to the application in advance instead.
If you have previously studied without a degree in the same field of study, you must also submit a so-called clearance certificate from the previous university.
If you would like to apply for a master's degree, we also need your bachelor's certificate and your bachelor's certificate as well as, if necessary, job references or proof of English at B2 level.
We can only consider you in the admission process once you have submitted all documents relevant to admission.
