How to apply
What you need to apply for Business Management at University of Applied Management Studies
For this English track master’s in international management programme, non-native speakers of English need to certify language skills on at least B2 level, according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). This can be certified by a German Abitur or any common language test, such as e.g. TOEFL or IELTS.
What to prepare for your application to Business Management
Please send your complete application documents to the student advisory service by email to [email protected] . These include:

To apply for a Master’s degree, please also enclose:

Certificate of a first qualified university degree

To apply for an English-language program, we also require proof of the required English language skills (at least B2).

Once we receive your documents, they will be reviewed by the Admissions Office. If everything is complete, we will send you a study contract. Please return it to us signed within 14 days. And then you can begin.
We focus on you as a person, with your skills and your motivation to study with us. Therefore, we don't have a minimum entry requirement.

School leaving certificate
Language certificates about your English skills on B2 level (for non-native speakers of English). All common language tests are accepted. A German Abitur is also sufficient proof of your language skills.

With 180 ECTS or if you lack the 30 ECTS in business, you can first enrol in a pre-semester course to gain the necessary 30 ECTS. If your 180 ECTS include the 30 ECTS in business, then the missing 30 ECTS can be obtained through a semester abroad in your third semester. The whole master’s programme, with either the pre-semester or the semester abroad, will then take 4 semesters. Applicants who already have 210 ECTS including 30 ECTS in business can spend a semester abroad voluntarily.

Before joining the Master's programme in Business Management, you must have a Bachelor’s degree. If your Bachelor’s degree has the equivalent of 210 ECTS with at least 30 ECTS relating to business studies, then you can directly join the Master’s in international management and finish your studies in only three semesters.
With a Bachelor's degree equivalent to only 180 ECTS or if you lack the 30 ECTS in business, you can first enrol in a pre-semester course to gain the necessary 30 ECTS. But if your 180 ECTS include the 30 ECTS in business, then the missing 30 ECTS can be obtained through a semester abroad in your third semester. The whole Master’s programme with either the pre-semester or the semester abroad will then take four semesters.
Instead of the pre-semester, you can also enrol in the four-semester version of this degree course with the specialisation "Digital Leadership". It can also be studied with 180 ECTS.
Bachelor's degree program with at least 180 ECTS credits over four semesters and at least 210 ECTS credits over three semesters.
This includes at least 30 ECTS credits related to business administration. Credit for professional experience is possible, shortening the program!
