The applicant must not have definitively failed an examination in an economics master's, magister's or diploma course or have lost his or her right to take the examination
Strong interest in business management issues and economic analysis
Knowledge of the German language at least at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
Knowledge of the English language at least at level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

Letter of motivation on one DIN A4 page in German or English, in which the applicant's personal reasons for taking up the master's degree in business administration (Public and Non-Profit Management) are explained
a declaration in German, signed by the applicant himself, that he or she prepared the letter of motivation independently and without outside help and identified the content taken from external sources as such (declaration template for the letter of motivation ) and
a declaration in German, signed by the applicant himself, stating whether he/she has finally failed an examination in a master's, master's or diploma course in economics and has lost his right to take the examination (declaration of examination entitlement template ) .
