The entry requirement is that applicants have either obtained a bachelor's degree in international communication and translation or in a relevant previous course of study at a German university or at a university in one of the Bologna signatory states, or have obtained an equivalent degree in a closely related course of study at another foreign university. Courses of study in the field of translation studies or technical editing, philological courses or those with a pedagogical or legal focus may be particularly suitable.
The admission requirements are also met if the degree has not yet been completed at the time of application, but at least 150 credit points have already been achieved
