2) Awarding University/Higher Educational InstitutionThe degrees of the awarding institutions have to be recognized as equivalents to those awarded by a german institution without restrictions. The institution should have a 'Status' of 'H+' in the [anabin](https://anabin.kmk.org/) database of The Standing Conference of the German Ministers of Education (KMK).
3) Study FieldAn applicants bachelor degree should be in a similar field to ensure they have the foundation needed to suceed in the INFOTECH program. Eg. computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering (communications), electronics engineering or automation.
4) GPA RequirementsThe Cumulative Grade Point Average/Overall Average (CGPA) should be better than (value/best on scale)
Original marks/grades are required, not a conversion to German grades.
It should be noted that values close to these minimum values have a difficult position in the international competition for seats. In all cases the academic admission commission INFOTECH evaluates the finishing (overall) grades/marks of the degree examination and decides.
5) English ProficiencyAll students will be required to show proof of a working knowledge of the English language. Accepted proofs are:

\- Medium of Instruction (MoI) is no longer an accepted proof of english proficiency.
