What you need
- You are studying electrical engineering, energy and control engineering or a comparable field.
- You have already gained experience in the field of power electronics, electrical energy systems or simulation models of electrical units.
- It is important to you to contribute to your team and to achieve goals together in interdisciplinary cooperation.
- You plan and complete tasks independently and with high quality.
- In pursuing goals, you overcome obstacles and setbacks.
- You work responsibly and with commitment.
- Experience with simulation programs such as PLECS and MATLAB/Simulink is an advantage but not a requirement.
- You have already successfully demonstrated your very good German and English skills in word and writing.
What you get
- Exclusive insight: In the joint work with the scientists of our work unit you gain an insight into the daily routine of research and development at a research institute.
- Laboratory infrastructure: At Fraunhofer ISE we work on the most modern equipment and devices, so that research projects can be carried out at the latest state of the art.
- Research mix: You get the opportunity to combine experimental work with theory and thus apply and expand your knowledge from your studies.
- Supervision: In your work you will be supervised by scientists and receive feedback on your progress.
- Teamwork: In exchange with the scientific and student employees you gather experience in teamwork and can contribute your already gained experience.
- Working time and place: We offer you the possibility to flexibly adjust your working time in consultation to your needs and occasionally work from home.
- Equal opportunities: We value equal opportunities and give space for diversity.
- After Work: Celebrate yourself and your colleagues at after-work events or our annual staff parties.
