Working Student (m/f/d) Green Shipping Technologies & Data Science

• Statistical characterization of regional fleets using ship tracking data (e.g., AIS) and technical ship databases
• Identification and analysis of conventional and alternative propulsion technologies for coastal and inland shipping
• Implementation and integration of new technologies and measures into our existing software framework ReFleet
• Simulation of bunkering processes and experimental validation of models
• Development of tank systems for renewable fuels and their integration into ships

• Ongoing studies with a background in engineering, data science, maritime studies, or a related field • Good programming skills (a short programming exercise will be part of the interview) • Basic knowledge of conventional and sustainable ship propulsion systems or strong interest in learning about them
