EY-Parthenon Intern Valuation Transactions and Corporate Finance (Financial Services) (f/m/d)

• Support in valuation and analysis of financial services companies in one of the most challenging and dynamic industries along the entire transaction cycle
• Getting to know the entire range of business models and market trends of financial service providers with their valuation specifics – and with it the opportunity to build your own brand core in the art of company valuation over time
• Questioning central assumptions of industry-shaping transactions and restructurings. Your analyses have a direct influence on the decision-making of our clients and you are at the forefront when we discuss strategic options with top management
• Independent work with capital market-oriented data providers such as S&P Market Intelligence, ThomsonONE, Mergermarket, and Bloomberg. In addition, you come into contact with cutting-edge software solutions (e.g., PowerBI or in-house tools), develop a comprehensive understanding of current market dynamics, and gain, for example, granular insights behind the scenes of financial services companies
• Participation in valuation and visualization of credit portfolios (e.g., Real Estate, Shipping, Aviation), for example in the context of portfolio transactions with the help of market-leading data analytics solutions

Your Skillset

• Studies in economics, industrial engineering, business informatics or mathematics (preferably at least 4th semester) with suitable specializations and passion for the financial industry
• First experiences in strategy, valuation, or transaction environment, preferably in the area of Financial Services (e.g., credit portfolios, insurance, or banking) and confident handling of Office 365 - ideally complemented by e.g., Power BI, SQL, Python
• Very good communication skills in German and English (at least C2)
