- Working directly on development projects focused on process development, design, and FEM simulation, while supporting daily operations
- Supporting coordination with internal and external project partners and the transfer of results
- Supporting the development of innovative solutions to advance machine technology and the process chain
- Collecting and preparing scientific literature and measurement data through systematic literature reviews and test planning
- Preparing manufacturing processes, including material and data preparation
- Performing additive manufacturing of components, including machine operation
- Performing post-processing, including depowdering and finishing of components
- Performing material and component analyses to determine material and component properties
- Supporting the scientific documentation, preparation, and presentation of results
What you need
- Valid enrollment at a German university or university of applied sciences in an engineering program
- Enjoyment of scientific, goal-oriented, and independent work
- Commitment, teamwork, an independent working style, and openness to new ideas
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Confident use of CAD programs
- Interest in the practical integration of hardware and software
- Basic programming skills
- Basic knowledge of 3D printing or additive manufacturing is an advantage
