- Directly contribute to development projects focusing on process development, design, FEM simulation and related areas, while supporting day-to-day operations
- Support coordination with internal and external project partners and the transfer of results
- Support the development of innovative solutions for advancing machine technology and the process chain
- Support the collection and preparation of scientific literature and measurement data through systematic literature reviews and experimental planning
- Prepare manufacturing, including material and data preparation
- Carry out additive manufacturing of components, including machine operation
- Perform post-processing, including powder removal and finishing of components
- Conduct material and component analyses to determine material and component properties
- Support the scientific documentation, preparation and presentation of results
What you need
- Valid enrollment at a German university or higher education institution in an engineering degree program
- Enjoyment of scientific, goal-oriented and independent work
- Commitment, ability to work in a team, an independent working style and openness to new ideas
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Confident use of CAD programs
- Interest in the practical integration of hardware and software
- Basic programming skills
- Basic knowledge of 3D printing / additive manufacturing is an advantage
