Mandatory Internship – UX Technology Center – 3D Design Projects for Process Technology and Special Machinery

3D design of system components (e.g., workpiece carriers, component-specific fixtures, robot tools) Coordination and implementation of created designs with partner departments and external partners Testing, documenting results, and representing them to the involved teams (e.g., from product design) Developing improvement potential for existing equipment through analysis of existing production processes Support in daily business of the department beyond the design area (e.g., parameter determination in process, support of DOE, testing of product iterations, shop floor management of production)

Students in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable course of study In-depth knowledge and strong interest in the field of 3D design (Catia V5, SolidWorks), ideally beyond pure study experience (e.g., hobbies like Formula Student, 3D printing, etc.) Basic knowledge of production processes in large-scale production desirable Proficient use of MS Office programs Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken Enjoyment of communication, planning, and organizational skills Communication and team skills as well as flexibility
