(Physical) Security Specialist Intern - 2027 Internship

• Coordinate with vendors involved in new security construction, repairs, daily security operations and patrols, and planning.
• Analyze security metrics and data to identify trends and recommend improvements
• Make suggestions on improving electronic surveillance systems and access controls
• Help develop and deliver guidance to data center occupants on reducing false alarms
• Write reports and create presentations on the status of physical security operations for management
• Assist with planning and coordinating security-related projects
• Support incident documentation and follow-up processes

Basic Qualifications

• In pursuit of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Risk Management, Business Administration, Security Management, or a related field, graduating in 2027/2028
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment, with strong time management skills
• You must have access to your own transport (note: public transit options may be limited)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience communicating technical details verbally and in writing
• Interest in physical security operations, including surveillance systems, access controls, and incident response
• Interest in analyzing data to identify security gaps and recommend improvements
• Familiarity with security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
