Intern IT Consulting/Audit Focus on Banks or Insurance (Financial Services) (w/m/d)

In the Financial Services Technology Risk department in Berlin, Frankfurt/Main, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Cologne, Hanover, or Munich, you audit and advise our clients regarding digitalization, IT processes, and IT systems. A particular focus here is on IT risk management and data analytics. In this role, you take on diverse tasks:

• Support in consulting and auditing information technologies of national and international banks, insurance companies, payment service providers, asset managers, and other financial service providers
• IT audits as part of annual financial statement audits, internal audit, and on behalf of the 2nd Line of Defense (e.g., information security or compliance); conducting Service Organization Control (SOC) audits at IT service providers in a regulated environment
• Consulting and project-accompanying auditing regarding the topics of IT strategy, IT governance, information risk and information security management, software development, IT operations, IT emergency management, outsourcing management, and cyber security
• Direct involvement in project and audit activities from the start and timely assumption of responsibility accompanied by experienced colleagues

• At least in the third semester of studies in business informatics, computer science, economics, or industrial engineering with a focus on information technology; alternatively mathematics, physics, law, or humanities with a strong affinity for information technologies
• First experiences (internship or working student activity) at an auditing and consulting company, in the IT environment, internal audit, a bank, an insurance company, or another financial service provider
• Very good communication skills in German (at least C1) and English (at least C1)
