What you will do

  • Insights into the entire development process of our distributed geoinformation system, from requirements analysis to deployment for our internal customers.
  • Support in web development using the ESRI ArcGIS API for JavaScript.
  • Preparation of relevant geodata in ArcGIS Desktop / ArcGIS Pro and integration into our existing geodatabase.
  • Creation and execution of test cases to ensure the quality of our applications.
  • Independent research activities or elaborations on relevant topics.

What you need

  • You are at least in your third semester of studying Geoinformatics, Geography, Computer Science, or a comparable degree program.
  • You have already gained initial experience in processing geodata and SQL databases.
  • You are familiar with ESRI ArcGIS products – especially ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro – and are proficient in creating maps, analyses, and visualizations.
  • You are interested in web development with JavaScript and programming in Python.
  • Furthermore, you score with your quick comprehension, analytical and conceptual thinking, and a large portion of team spirit.
  • Last but not least, you are enthusiastic about new topics and convince with your open, communicative manner as well as your independent, structured, and reliable work style.
  • Good German and English, both written and spoken.
