Interns (m/f/d)

Are you studying engineering and would now like to apply what you have learned in practice and gain some initial experience?

We offer you a placement lasting up to three months in one of the following departments:

• Refit & Repair
• Project team support (mechanical engineering or shipbuilding/outfitting)
• Refit & Manufacturing
• Mechanical engineering
• Outfitting
• Dock and quay operations
• Joinery
• Occupational safety/quality

Please state in your application which department you would like to complete your internship in and specify your preferred internship dates. Please submit proof of enrolment and a current academic transcript.

The following additional documents are also required depending on the type of internship:

Compulsory internship: An extract from the examination regulations specifying the internship and its duration in more detail and showing that the internship is a compulsory part of your degree programme.

Preliminary internship: The university's requirements

• Enrollment in an engineering degree program such as mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, production engineering, electrical engineering, or industrial engineering
• Enthusiasm for working in a shipyard and good technical understanding
• High degree of independence and initiative
• Team and communication skills
• Reliability, motivation, willingness to learn and perform
