Intern in the field of research of electric drives (m/f/d)

• Collaboration in the design and optimization of novel electrical drive systems
• Support in the development of new concepts and approaches for the electromagnetic design of electric motors
• Optimization and analysis of the interactions between electric motors, power electronics, and control systems
• Further development and application of benchmark tools for evaluating relevant properties such as performance and efficiency
• Development, construction, and commissioning of electronic prototypes for testing and validation purposes
• Implementation of control methods using Rapid Control Prototyping for testing electric motors on a small drive test bench
• Research and evaluation of technical facts in the field of electrical machines, power electronics, modulation, and control methods
• Creation of documentation in the form of technical reports, graphics, and presentations

• Studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field of study
• Initial experience in the field of electric drives (e-motor, power electronics or control) desirable
• Ideally, knowledge and experience in using MATLAB, Simulink and/or ANSYS Maxwell
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team and a sense of responsibility
• Independent, structured and self-reliant way of working
