What you will do

  • Drive acoustics in the entire drive system – from internal combustion engines to electric machines, pulse inverters and transmissions, through to drivetrains and auxiliary units
  • Design and validation of gas exchange systems, especially with regard to sound and compliance with legal traffic noise regulations
  • Sound development for combustion engine and PHEV derivatives as well as the design of the acoustic driving experience
  • Planning, execution and evaluation of tests on prototype vehicles, including measurement data evaluation and results preparation
  • Creation of documents for working groups and committees to support decision-making processes and project communication

What you need

  • A university place for engineering – ideally with a focus on mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, acoustics, mechatronics, physics or electrical engineering – or a comparable degree program (at least in the 3rd semester or in a gap year between Bachelor and Master)
  • A strong affinity for the automotive industry and enthusiasm for innovative vehicle technologies
  • Ideally, knowledge of tools such as HEAD ArtemiS, Matlab or INCA
  • A structured, independent and proactive way of working
  • Team and communication skills
  • Sense of responsibility
  • Flexibility and commitment
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Very good German and good English skills (min. B2)
