What you will do

  • Active participation in the team of the Component Strength and Environmental Simulation group
  • Exciting tasks with and on complete prototypes with battery and internal combustion engines from the concept phase to series introduction
  • Supervising tests on test benches (e.g., drop test, cyclic actuations...) and environmental simulators as well as on shakers and pulsers
  • Planning, conducting, and evaluating tests and approval tests on components and complete machines
  • Data analysis and documentation of results
  • Optimizing and further developing existing test methods and comparing them for application

What you need

  • Ongoing studies in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or comparable fields of study
  • Initial experience with STIHL products, forestry, or lifetime and component testing is an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Initiative, creativity, as well as an analytical and goal-oriented way of working
  • Enjoyment of practical activities
  • Good communication and teamwork
