Internship in Python Development for a Deep Learning Annotation Tool

You work on a unique web project and accompany it from requirements through design to implementation. You enable us and other scientists to annotate data on a large scale and efficiently, to advance the state of the art. You work independently in an agile team.

You are enrolled and study computer science, media informatics or a comparable subject. You have initial experience with Python, REST and have already gained initial experience with frameworks such as Django. You are familiar with Clean Code, Design Patterns, Testing, Version Control, etc. You enjoy programming and trying out new things. Good German and English skills.

Ideal location: Only a few minutes' walk from KIT Campus South and very good connection to public transport. Practical experience alongside your studies: A six-month internship (as a practical semester or mandatory internship) with ideal conditions for practical experience. Work on site: The internship takes place on site at the institute (no mobile working). Practice-oriented projects: Cooperation with industrial partners and application of research results in real scenarios. Individual supervision and interdisciplinary team: Benefit from our professional support and open, communicative exchange within the team. Freedom for ideas: High degree of personal responsibility and the opportunity to actively contribute your own ideas. Option for a thesis: By arrangement, you also have the possibility to write your Bachelor's or Master's thesis with us.
