What you will do

  • Measuring and preparing material data for use in simulation models
  • Developing and implementing a method for identifying parameters for material models in e-motor simulations, considering manufacturing influences
  • Verifying the developed material models using test geometry and in the operating e-motor
  • Virtually evaluating different material grades and their influence on the torque and losses of the e-motor

What you need

  • Ongoing studies in electrical engineering, materials science, or comparable fields
  • Initial experience in the simulation of electrical machines is an advantage
  • Technical knowledge in the field of electrical drive technology, especially electric motors and magnetic materials, is advantageous
  • Ideally, initial experience in measurement technology
  • Proactive, creative, structured, and independent working style
  • Enjoyment of developing and implementing innovative simulation approaches
