Internship (m/f/d)

As a working student at the District Office Steglitz-Zehlendorf of Berlin, you will gain your first insights into your future fields of activity already during your studies. You can actively contribute your theoretical knowledge to your area of responsibility while simultaneously gaining new practical experience. This way, you can easily combine theory and practice. Your area of responsibility will be based on your respective field of study.

The District Office Steglitz-Zehlendorf of Berlin offers a variety of different internship positions for students, pupils, and trainees in various interesting departments and organizational units.

Our goal is for our interns to gain an insight into the daily life of a public authority and the various tasks and facets of the District Office. During the internship, already acquired knowledge should be applied and expanded through practical experience.

Through this, we primarily aim to attract potential young professionals and to retain and promote them in the long term.

We offer the following internships:

Mandatory internships:

• Mandatory internships due to a school or university regulation (e.g., student internships) or an Ausbildung regulation

Internships accompanying vocational training:

• Internships during a retraining or further education

Part of your application file:

• Cover letter stating the period and desired placement (see organizational chart)
• Tabular CV
• Information on the formal requirements of your institution, such as internship guidelines, contracts

General information

• The internship must be completed as part of a measure; voluntary internships are unfortunately not offered
• Applications should ideally be submitted at least three months before the desired start of the internship
• Travel and accommodation costs will not be reimbursed

Note: The Victor-Gollancz-Volkshochschule offers internships for prospective adult educators in program area work.

Requirements:

• ongoing studies with a focus on adult education/continuing education,
• interest in the field of program/offer planning,
• competent handling of digital media and Office applications,
• structured, thorough, and independent way of working
