What you will do

  • Gaining deep insights into the world of manufacturing at STIHL - demanding manufacturing technology with a high degree of vertical integration and breadth
  • Supporting and carrying out manufacturing pre-development projects
  • Developing new manufacturing processes and innovative technologies for our international production network
  • Ensuring the feasibility of new technologies through manufacturing trials and feasibility studies
  • Close collaboration with technology suppliers and research institutions

What you need

  • Ongoing studies in mechanical engineering, production engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
  • Interest in production-related issues
  • Basic knowledge of experimental design and evaluation
  • Good knowledge of common MS Office applications
  • Strong analytical skills, a solution-oriented and structured way of working, and a quick grasp of concepts
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
