What you will do

  • Active participation in current development projects for new electric and battery products (including chainsaws, brush cutters, high-pressure cleaners)
  • Development of methods and tools for thermal, fluid dynamic, or hydraulic preliminary design
  • Further development of existing simulation models
  • Conducting project-specific simulations for virtual design and validation
  • Validating simulation models based on measurement data
  • Analyzing and presenting findings

What you need

  • Ongoing studies in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, thermal process engineering, or comparable fields of study
  • Technical knowledge in the areas of heat transfer and fluid mechanics
  • Initial experience in MATLAB Simulink / Simscape is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge in fluid simulation (CFD) with StarCCM+ is desirable
  • Interest in modeling physical processes
  • Proactiveness, a goal-oriented way of working, and good analytical skills
