What you will do

  • Actively supporting projects in the area of pre-development of product functions, sensor technology, and actuator technology
  • Contributing creative and novel approaches for innovative mechatronic product functions, controls and displays, as well as safety features in the development of customer-oriented power tools and chainsaws
  • Focusing on increasing ergonomics and safety during operation and use
  • Developing solutions from initial concepts to functional prototypes

What you need

  • Ongoing studies in mechatronics, electrical engineering, technical cybernetics or comparable degree programs
  • Experience in designing and developing mechatronic functions
  • Good knowledge in the field of electrical engineering, preferably in sensor technology and actuator technology
  • Initial experience with Arduino and Matlab
  • Determination, an independent and careful way of working as well as teamwork skills
