Practical Semester in Mechanical Manufacturing

Support the optimization of series manufacturing processes for crankshafts, crankcases, cylinder liners and smaller engine components; assist production planners with planning, implementing and monitoring new processes; learn about manufacturing processes, investigate process risks and develop corrective measures; work independently on projects involving product quality, cost efficiency and occupational safety; implement tasks from KAIZEN workshops and participate in workshops.

Currently studying industrial engineering, production engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable subject; a compulsory internship required by the university; good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint; good communication skills; commitment, motivation and initiative.
