Student Assistant (m/f/d) - Design, Construction and Testing of Outdoor Robots

What you'll do
Conceptualization and design of individual subassemblies for the further development of our robots; Assembly and commissioning of prototypes of our robot platforms, in particular CURTtrac (track-based platform) and BiBiRob (bipedal robot with driven wheels); Drawing up test plans as well as conducting and evaluating tests with the robots in our outdoor test environments
What you need
Valid enrollment at a German university or college; Experience with CAD (ideally SolidWorks); Above-average academic performance or relevant prior experience from own projects; Enjoyment of the mix of workshop work on the robot and design work on the computer; Independent, structured and careful working method; Very good German or English skills; Regular presence at our location directly on the campus of the University of Stuttgart
