Student Assistant (SHK) (gn) Bioinformatics

Development and automation of data processing and analysis pipelines for genomic data. Support in building and maintaining databases as well as preparing training and test datasets. Participation in training and evaluation of machine learning models on servers. Testing of software components, analysis of model results, and support in resolving technical issues. Collaboration on scientific software in the field of machine learning and explainable AI.

Valid enrollment in computer science, bioinformatics, data science, or a related field. Good programming skills in Python. Basic knowledge of machine learning and/or deep learning. Interest in biological data, artificial intelligence, and scientific software development. Ideally basic knowledge of Git and Linux. Structured and careful working style. Good German and English skills.
