During your work you will methodically further develop a model-based temperature estimator for electric machines and contribute your expertise
Furthermore, you will integrate environmental data into the existing model to increase estimation accuracy and optimize its performance
The implementation and evaluation of your solutions takes place in simulations (Matlab/Simulink) using existing thermal models
You will then verify your developed approaches on the engine test bench and ensure their practical suitability
Last but not least, you will optionally deal with AI-based dating methods, for example using "Similarity Learning", to explore innovative ways

Education: Master's studies in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience and know-how: sound knowledge of electrical machines, system dynamics and thermodynamics
Personality and work style: you work independently on complex issues, proceed in a structured manner and always find solution-oriented approaches
Daily work: office presence required
