Working Student Optical Systems & Simulation (f/m/d)

Programming in Matlab, Python (CodeV, Zemax, FRED). Data preparation, literature research, cost analyses. Support with technical documentation in accordance with defence industry development standards. Where applicable, support with conception, optimisation, tolerancing and simulation of optical systems for military and security-relevant applications (preferably with CodeV or FRED (possibly Zemax/OpticStudio)).

Ongoing studies in physics, optics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, precision engineering or a related degree programme. High sense of responsibility, very careful and independent working style, teamwork. Basic knowledge of geometric and physical optics. First experience with optical software (e.g. CodeV, FRED, Zemax) desirable. Interest and openness to technical applications in the defence sector. Good written and spoken German and English.
