What you'll do
As a working student (f/m/d), you will become part of our agile software development team and work on innovative solutions for the diagnosis of rail traffic products that contribute daily to the safe and reliable transportation of millions of passengers. You are involved in the development and enhancement of our applications, tools, and scripts for recording and evaluating diagnostic data, and you can apply your knowledge from your studies in a targeted manner. In close exchange with experienced developers, you support the team in developing modern software and gain exciting insights into practice. Furthermore, you work with Git and GitLab on building and further developing our container-based solutions and CI/CD pipelines, deepening your knowledge of modern DevOps practices. As a full member of our international Scrum team, you work on your assigned tasks and actively contribute your ideas.
What you need
You are studying computer science or electrical engineering, ideally already in an advanced stage of your studies, and are available to us for approximately 15-20 hours per week. You have good knowledge of an object-oriented programming language. You are familiar with relational databases and SQL. Ideally, you have already gained initial experience with Docker and container technologies as well as CI/CD pipelines. Initial knowledge in web and application development with PHP or .NET is also an advantage. Fluent German and English skills round off your profile.
