Mechatronics and Product Design (M.Sc.)

The prerequisite for admission to the Master's degree programme in Mechatronics and Product Design is a qualified degree (Bachelor's or Diplomingenieur degree) with an overall grade of 2.5 or better from a degree programme comprising at least 210 credit points in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics (e.g. Mechatronics and Product Design or Mechatronics and Information Technologies) or a comparable degree programme at a state or state-recognised university. The examination board determines the comparability of the subject. The examination board determines whether and which achievements these applicants may have to catch up on.

Graduates of a Bachelor's degree programme with fewer than 210 credit points may be admitted to the Master's degree programme on condition that they provide evidence of additional credits, usually amounting to 30 credit points.

Applicants who have not acquired their admission requirements at a German-speaking institution must provide proof of the German language skills required for the degree programme at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
