How to apply
The master's degree in petroleum engineering builds on a bachelor's degree in energy and raw materials (focus on petroleum engineering). An alternative requirement for admission is a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from a recognized (technical) university or an equivalent qualification as well as a good knowledge of English. If there is no equivalence, admission is possible subject to conditions.
Prerequisite for the previous course of study suitable for the subject is proof of the follow-ing achievements:a)At least 50 CP in basics of engineering, including aa)at least 32 CP in the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry and electrical engi-neeringab) at least 18 CP in the fields of mechanics, machine theory and technical drawingb)At least 32 CP, in the field of petroleum engineering and geoscientific fundamentals of oil and gas production, including ba) at least 25 CP in the fields of oil and gas exploration and production, deep drilling and oil and gas production bb) at least 7 CP in the field of earth sciencesT
