Wood Engineering

• To be eligible for this Master's programme, you must hold a first university degree qualifying you for a profession, with a standard period of study of at least seven semesters or comprising at least 210 ECTS credits. It is recommended that the degree was obtained in one of the following fields:
• Wood Technology (Diplom), Wood Technology (Bachelor), Wood Engineering, Timber Industry, Timber Construction and Finishing, or Interior Design.
• If an applicant with a relevant academic background holds a six-semester Bachelor’s degree and therefore has fewer ECTS credits than required, they may be conditionally admitted for the winter semester. In this case, enrolment in the 7th semester of the Bachelor’s programme "Wood Engineering"_ _at Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (HNEE) will be required to acquire the missing 30 ECTS credits.
• If an applicant with a relevant seven-semester Bachelor’s degree has subject-specific gaps of no more than 30 ECTS credits, they may also be conditionally admitted for the winter semester. In this case, enrolment in the 7th semester of the “Wood Engineering” Bachelor’s programme at HNEE will be required to make up for the missing subject-specific knowledge.

Applicants with an international educational background must also provide proof of German language proficiency at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
