Mechatronics and Automotive Engineering (M.Sc.)

The entry requirement is

• a first professional university degree in an electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering course with a minimum of 210 ECTS credits
• with an overall grade of at least 2.5
• and English language skills at level B2 or higher .
• You must provide proof of language skills (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge Certificate or DAAD) with your application, which demonstrates language skills of at least B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) recommended by the Council of Europe and which is no older than three years . You do not need  to provide proof of English language skills if you obtained your first professional university degree in an English-speaking country or at a bilingual training institution, or if you have achieved at least 20 ECTS points in English-language modules.
• Graduates of the Bachelor's degree programs [in Mechatronics](https://www.frankfurt-university.de/de/studium/bachelor-s...) , [Electrical Engineering and Information Technology](https://www.frankfurt-university.de/de/studium/bachelor-s...) , and [Mechanical Engineering](https://www.frankfurt-university.de/de/studium/bachelor-s...) at Frankfurt UAS do not need to provide proof of language skills .

Students with fewer than 210 ECTS credits may be admitted provided they demonstrate successful completion of modules totaling up to 30 ECTS credits

by the time they begin their master's thesis. The examination board decides on the selection of modules.
