The prerequisite for admission to this program is a first qualifying university degree in the fields of mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or subject-related comparable courses of study with at least 210 ECTS credits and a final grade of 2.5 or better.
⦁ In addition to the above-mentioned prerequisites, sufficient English language skills are required as an admission requirement, as evidenced by a language test (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge Certificate, DAAD) or other proof of language proficiency showing a language competence of at least B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) recommended by the Council of Europe and not older than three years. The proof of English language skills is waived if
a. the first university degree qualifying for a profession was acquired in an English-speaking country or at a bilingual educational institution, or
b. the first university degree qualifying for a profession was obtained in the Bachelor's program "Electrical Engineering and Information Technology" or "Mechatronics" of the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences or
c. at least 20 ECTS credits were earned in English-language modules in the first professional degree.
