The selection procedure at the Faculty of Biology and the application to the International Office are two independent processes, with different application deadlines.
The International Office reviews the qualifications obtained abroad in order to certify whether the applicant is eligible to study at LMU Munich. The Faculty of Biology assesses the aptitude of the student and subsequently decides on the admission to the Master’s program.
For applications submitted in February, we try to offer an early screening service. This means that your application will be examined and you will receive a message in case anything is missing or is not clear in your application. This way, you will have the opportunity to complete your application before the end of the application period.
Accepted students must arrive in Munich at the end of September, as there is a two-week orientation session preceding the semester. Courses begin mid October.
