M.Sc. Advanced Semiconductor Nano Technologies

Advanced Semiconductor Nanotechnologies at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg is a four-semester Master of Science taught in English, starting in the winter semester. You gain advanced scientific skills and hands-on experience in the chemical and physical technologies used to make miniaturised semiconductor devices. A key part of the programme is learning to understand and organise work flows in a cleanroom on your own, which is an essential part of later jobs in the field. The programme is designed as an entry route into the semiconductor industry, where graduates work for example as process engineers, quality managers, project managers or equipment engineers. It suits graduates in electrical engineering, physics or a closely related subject who are interested in experimental and interdisciplinary science, with chemistry, electronics or quantum mechanics knowledge as a plus.
