Deggendorf Institute of Technology (TH Deggendorf)

Tuition

Tuition fees may apply for non-EU students

Bavaria has allowed its public universities to charge non-EU and non-EEA students tuition since the 2024/25 winter semester, and each one decides whether to charge and sets its own amount (for example, TU Munich charges 4,000 to 6,000 EUR per semester for Master's). Private universities set their own fees too. Check Deggendorf Institute of Technology (TH Deggendorf)'s fee page for its current policy. You also pay a semester contribution (Semesterbeitrag) of roughly 100 to 400 EUR, set by each university, which often includes a public transport pass.

Estimated monthly living costs (general estimate)

International students also need to show proof of funds (a blocked account, currently €11,904/yr (approx. €992/mo)) for the student visa. Use our blocked account calculator and cost of living calculator for a personalised estimate.
