- Applicants are required to have successfully completed an undergraduate study programme with at least 210 ECTS credits from the fields of mechatronics, robotics, or a related degree programme, or by a qualification that is equivalent to such a university degree. Based on the documents submitted, the examination board decides on the relevance of prior degrees.
- For this reason, applicants having obtained their academic training (e.g. undergraduate degree) in non-member states of the [Lisbon convention](https://www.coe.int/en/web/conventions/full-list?module=s...) are recommended – but not required – to submit a [GATE](https://www.th-deg.de/Fakult%C3%A4ten/nuw/sprechzeiten/GA...) or [GRE](https://www.th-deg.de/Fakult%C3%A4ten/nuw/sprechzeiten/GA...) (general) certificate deemed to further substantiate their eligibility for this study programme.
- Additionally, the professional qualification for this study programme is to be demonstrated in the context of an [aptitude assessment](https://www.th-deg.de/Fakult%C3%A4ten/nuw/sprechzeiten/FA...). This written exam is based on a range of subject areas relevant for Intelligent Robotics, such as mathematics, physics, electronics & electrical engineering, system theory, control engineering, computer science, robotics and autonomous systems. The exam is being conducted both online and on site at Campus Cham affiliated to Deggendorf Institute of Technology. This exam is consulted to determine the major-specific eligibility, and its results ultimately determine the applicant's admission to this Master’s programme.
