In the case that your Secondary School Leaving Certificate is not equivalent to the German
Secondary School Leaving Certificate (“A-level”), you have to complete an assessment test
(“Feststellungsprüfung”) before beginning university studies. This test includes a German
language examination. Applicants who must take the assessment test are urgently advised
to attend a preparatory course (“Studienkolleg”) beforehand. The preparatory course and the
assessment test are not administered by TUC, but by Studienkolleg Glauchau or Studienkolleg
Sachsen in Leipzig.
