You can prove your English language proficiency via the language of instruction in an academic program (e.g. in a bachelor's) by submitting your transcript of records or your degree certificate as evidence. The language of instruction needs to have been English in more than 50% of the program.

Once you have submitted your completed online application, you will receive a list of additional documents that you need to send to the Registrar’s Office along with a print-out of your application form.
Selection takes place through an aptitude assessment procedure. Aptitude assessment is a two-part procedure after the submission of an official application to a program. In this procedure, the TUM school or department determines whether you meet the specific requirements for its master’s degree program.
In the initial stages, the grades you obtained during your bachelor's program, as well as your written documents, will be evaluated using a point system. Depending on the amount of points accumulated, applicants are either immediately admitted, rejected or invited to an admissions interview.

Minimum requirements to apply for a Master's program at TUM are a recognized undergraduate degree (e.g. a bachelor’s) and the successful completion of the aptitude assessment procedure. Aptitude assessment allows the TUM school or department to which you are applying the opportunity to evaluate your individual talents and motivation for study.
(1) Qualification for the Master’s degree programme in Consumer Science is demonstrated by (“M.Sc.”). 2This academic degree may be used with the university suffix “(TUM)”. (1) The Master’s programme in Consumer Science at the Technical University of Munich generally begins in the winter semester. (2) 1On the basis of the passed Master's examination, the academic degree "Master of Science" is awarded. (1) 1The Subject Examination and Study Regulations for the Master's degree program in Consumer Science (FPSO) supplement the General Examination and Study Regulations for Bachelor's and Master's degree programs at the Technical University of Munich (APSO) of 18 March 2011 in the currently valid version. 2The APSO takes precedence. a GMAT score of at least 53 percent is submitted, this also proves adequate knowledge of the English language, 3. proof of professional knowledge in the form of a “Graduate Management Admission Test” (GMAT) with at least 65 percent is mandatory for applicants who have completed their first degree in the following countries: China, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Egypt; for other applicants with a first degree not completed in a signatory state to the Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education in the European Region of 11 April 1997
