What you need to apply for Quantum Engineering at Ulm University
University degree in a course with English only as the language of instruction
5.5 points or better in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS, IELTS Academic (IELTS online), IELTS Indicator with simultaneous indication of the score and CEFR level, the higher language proficiency level stated will be recognized

400 (listening), 385 (reading), 160 (speaking) and 150 (writing) points or better in the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC)
72 points or better in the Test of English as a Foreign Language internet-based (TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT home edition)
Level II at UNIcert®
PTE Academic, with a score of 59 or better
GER B 2 level or higher shown on the university entrance qualification. A language proficiency level that is partially at GER B 2 level and lower will not be recognized

What to prepare for your application to Quantum Engineering
When submitting your application on the campus portal, you must upload the following documents:
Bachelor's certificate and bachelor's degree certificate with final grade as well as subject and grade overview / transcript of records with credit points / diploma supplement (if available)
If no university degree is yet available: a transcript of records issued by the university with the total credit points achieved up to the application deadline and the provisional average grade
Form for subject-specific additional information
Proof of basic knowledge and skills in the fields of mathematics, physics and electrical engineering.
Proof of English language skills at level B2 CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
For a university degree from China, India or Vietnam: APS certificate or APS confirmation.
For a foreign university degree: Grading scale of the degree program with details of the lowest passing grade and the maximum grade for the university degree, to be proven on the bachelor's certificate/bachelor's diploma or on an official document from the university.
If the evidence and documents to be submitted are not in German or English, an official translation into German or English is also required
For applicants who do not come from an EU country or the European Economic Area and have a German higher education entrance qualification (Abitur): Proof of higher education entrance qualification

The admission interview will be organized online and the length will be approximately 20 minutes.
Applicants will be asked about the content of their Bachelor's studies and thesis, the interest in the Quantum Engineering program as well as personal motivation and study goals.
