The admission requirements vary from Master's degree programme to Master's degree programme. As a rule, a "good" degree in a relevant previous degree programme, i.e. corresponding to the Master's degree programme, is required. A "good" overall examination result is defined as an average of at least 2.5. The detailed admission requirements can be found in the respective study and examination regulations.

The degree programme is admission-restricted. The application for admission (= application) is made online. All necessary application documents must be enclosed with the application.

The admission requirements are

• University degree from a German university in an economics degree programme with generally 210 ECTS credits and an overall grade of "good" or better or a comparable domestic or foreign degree.

• Graduates of a degree programme that is not purely in economics but is related to economics may be admitted upon application to the examination board. Admission requirements are successfully completed modules amounting to at least 45 ECTS credits in the field of business administration.
• If applicants can prove that they have completed a university degree in economics for which fewer than 210 ECTS credits (but at least 180 ECTS credits) are awarded, proof of relevant professional experience with an economics background with a minimum of 900 consecutive hours, which corresponds to the requirements for the practical semester in the Bachelor's degree programme in Business Administration at Landshut University of Applied Sciences, is a prerequisite for admission in addition to the first degree.

• Language skills in German and English corresponding to language level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

• Note on English language skills: certificates confirming the level achieved according to the CEFR are often issued at the home university. Please enquire at your home university, as it is not uncommon for the level you have reached to be confirmed only on request. Proof can be provided by taking a TOEFL test or other test formats (Cambridge Certificate, IELTS, LCCI, TELC, TOEIC).
