No. Bonn is a public university, so there are no tuition fees, and applying is free. Regular students pay a social contribution once a semester; for the winter semester 2026/27 it is 363.07 EUR, including 226.80 EUR for the Deutschlandsemesterticket and 115.00 EUR for the Studierendenwerk. Other amounts apply during a leave of absence, to second-degree and guest students and to continuing-education students, and it can be partly waived in cases of social hardship.
